About Us

Our mission

Euterria's mission is ensuring communities are equipped to adapt to the growing impacts of climate change.

We know who the experts are. They are our users, the frontline organizations with the technical experience, wisdom, and understanding of their communities required to make tangible change.

We empower our users with critical collaboration tools and a growing database of knowledge. By connecting organizations across reach, discipline, and region, we strive to build stronger and more effective partnerships for climate adaptation and justice.

Our Story

Euterria began at Stanford.

In 2025, our team spent months interviewing climate organizations across the Bay Area and beyond. The pattern was unmistakable: groups are eager to collaborate, but it is hard to know who was working on what and how to get in contact.

Unlike academia, where collaboration is facilitated by universities and journals, collaboration among climate nonprofits is often about being in the right place, at the right time. This often leads to duplication or unnecessary competition for grants.

These organizations ultimately share the same goals: stronger communities, better preparedness, and more effective local climate action. Their impact grows when they can collaborate seamlessly.

Euterria was built to make that possible.

Who we are

Originally a four-person student project at Stanford University, Euterria is awaiting 501(3)(c) status in California. We are a team spanning climate adaptation, civic technology, AI engineering, and community engagement. We understand both the technical challenge of building secure knowledge infrastructure and the day-to-day reality of community-based climate organizations operating with limited time and resources.
